Announcement: MRG Parts & Servicing - Club Discount Scheme

MRG Volvo Chippenham have now come up with another way to support the forum, and us support them in return - and make life easier for everybody.

They are prepared to offer substantial discounts exclusively to T5D5 members, not only on Parts, but on Labour Rates also. This extends to things like Air Conditioning recharges, 4 Wheel Computerised Alignment as well as Repairs etc.

With the MRG rates that are being offered to T5D5 members, there really is no need to use any "Independent Specialist Volvo" mechanics whatsoever as MRG will be substantially cheaper and only use genuine Volvo parts, hence you will get the full backup of an official Volvo dealership with all their expertise, facilities and special tools. Not only that, but MRG Volvo Chippenham have a proven and extensive track record, looking after not only normal models, but also the performance and highly tuned volvos, something many dealers have little experience or interest in.

If you wish to take advantage of this offer, an "account" will have to be setup with MRG.

This will mean that it prevents "chancers" from abusing the deal - and keeps the deal only for those members of T5D5 who actually contribute to the forum, rather than those who would sign up just to use the deal. and to that end, it is only open and available to current and active members with over 50 posts, the moderation teams decision is final.

If you wish to be considered for this, you will need to send your name and address to either V70Ben or Pyaap - we will then contact MRG confirming that you are a bona fide member and they will set up the account - at that point, you will be able to in future ring them and quote your account number and hey presto.

Also, as part of this - T5D5 members will be able to call MRG Parts on a direct line - so no switchboard, and a guaranteed answer.

At this point, I should ensure that "An Account" does NOT mean a credit account (sorry guys) - but it's a simple way of MRG ensuring only you benefit, and ensuring the ordering process is completely painless.

All "accounts" will be reviewed on a yearly basis and if not used regularly may be closed; this will be entirely at the discretion of MRG.

Being an existing customer of MRG does not automatically entitle you to the discounts being offered for the reasons already stated; you will still need to have an "account" set up.
