  1. Anyone got a wiring diagram for the seats from a 97 v70? Or has a 97 v70 and would be willing to take a pic of the plugs going into the front of the module? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If you got the 2014 vida with wiring diagrams like i did, the wiring diagrams dont do anything earlier than 2008 v70's (which i think is p2?) Just spent a hour installing them to find out they are no good to me. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thats the front of the control module with the spade ends for the permanent live for seat motors Thats the rear of the module with the multiplug that feeds the seat pads. Is this as simple as hooking live and ground from car to the two spare spades above the seat motor feed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. ok, further investigation reveals wires from heater pads go into a control box of some kind via a big multi plug. i think the seats are out of a 97 v70. all i have on the car side is a green/brown heated seat live and a black earth. remember, this is a 94 850, so its pre-old skool. any ideas as to the colours of the wires on the seat side that feed the heat pads?
  5. Afternoon All, A while ago i swapped out the old london underground half leathers for full grey leather from what i was told was a P80 V70. (seats were not in the car when i bought them, so could have been from an 855) Drivers is electric memory, passenger is manually adjustable. All fitted nicely, made up the wiring to make the electric seat adjuster work, and all is hunkey dory. Aside from drivers heated seat wont heat. when i looked, i found the live coming from the car, into a plug which plugged into a plug on the seat, but the live didnt match up to a wire. just an empty port on the seat plug. So, my question is, does anyone know where the wire from the seat pads goes? or its colour? on seats from a v70? the passenger seat has red and yellow wires which match perfectly to the seat plug with wires of the same colour and they work fine. just the drivers seat i am struggling with. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Dave
  6. a nice big 1farad capacitor should do the trick.

  8. Why not just bung an auto box in it and keep it? I am a big fan of the t5 auto. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The matrix is a radiator inside the cabin of the car. The warm coolant flows through it, and the heater motor blows air over it to warm the air and then warm the car. If it has a leak, it will pour coolant into the carpets of your car, so like tingy says, better to pull it out and inspect it before connecting the pipes. Here is a video i found when trying to replace the pipes on mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Tim, how far are you from the first prototype 850 i-shift? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. A set of one piece mounts from the breakers and some number plate foam adhesive tape and Houston, we have a spoiler! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Need to take off the rear calipers to inspect the handbrake mechanism. What kind or range of movement do the calipers have while still attached to the hard lines? Dont want to kink a brake line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So, it turned out that the alternatorwas knackered and overcharging, but the power steering pump was making the noise. Both replaced and all is now quiet and well. Now to move on to rear brakes. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
