  1. As this is causing such a huge problem then it's quite simple, I'll just stop posting on here full stop. Have enough drama's with people at work behaving like children without coming on here for it as well. I was of the opinion the thread was about the car (not individuals and who did what to it) and a continuation of it under my ownership. And to clarify, yes there is a small amount of steering wheel vibration under heavy breaking and a slight crunch when changing from third to fourth if it's rushed. It's a 22 year old car with 108,000 miles on the clock, it's going to have these small problems, it's not the end of the world and they'll get ironed out in time. There is nothing wrong with the wheels on the car. I'm happy with what I purchased and what I paid for it. End of story.
  2. Well a few weeks in to ownership and I'm still absolutely loving this car, not looking forward to putting it away at the end of the month. However the heater fan decided to stop working yesterday which is a pain but will get fixed over winter along with the aircon. Apart from a good clean and wax the only other small job that has been done is to replace the number plates with ones in the same style of when the car was new, complete with the Volvo text in blue at the bottom of the plate. Quite a mission to get these after being messed around by one incompetent dishonest supplier. Finally got some good quality ones from Just need to find some screw covers for the rear one now.

  4. Hello everyone, I'm a newbie here and apologies for dragging this thread up from three years ago but two weeks ago I became the owner of this T-5R and I've loved every second of it so far. I've wanted a Gul yellow 854 for many years and finally the opportunity arose. The car is still in an excellent condition and clearly it's been well looked after by its previous owners, as documented here and my only plans for it are to maintain this and improve it where I can. The spending has already begun on it though having had a new cam-belt kit and rear cam seals fitted on Friday by Shem. Having also discovered that the vehicle was used as a Volvo press car from new in late December 1994 until 1996 I'm also in the process of sorting out some original style number plates as can be seen in pictures of the car from 20+ years ago.
