  1. You should visit "Mo's garage" he's got a few spare cars, I'm sure he won't mind you borrowing one.
  2. Well it's still not a Volvo (2 was enough for me, for now. Though if I had space ...). But I hope to take a trip to Banbury around Easter to breath some life into the new car. From 333 to close to 500bhp (apparently). Not getting close to Chris and that AMG monster but expect a massive grin recharge! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Tempted but need to sort out some things with HMRC and a large amount of cooking oil. So may not know until close to the dates. Oh well, will wait and see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Tim is doing a Mountain Marathon (WTF?) that weekend so it's just me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Please add me. I'll see if my mate Tim wants to come again this year, hopefully his coolant leak last year hasn't put him off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Andy, I like your setup and looked at getting something similar myself, but for me it was more expensive as meant getting rid of my up and over garage door to replace it with a roller one to give me enough free wall space. But still, that's just 4 spare wheels/tyres. Ashok has 26 wheels, Manuel has 41 and Ryan has 34, where on earth can you store that many sets of wheels. You lot have more spare wheels than Mo's had cars, now that's impressive!
  7. Where on earth do you lot store so many wheels. I struggle enough with one extra set in the garage with all the kids bikes and other family paraphernalia. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Check the link for current sizes. I got mine in 255/35/19 so starting size at the moment is 19". But still to big for you ;-) In the past I've managed to justify winter and summer tyres, but so far resisted trackday tyres (and slicks). But if you are familiar with how good the SuperSport were for grip and wear, then if that sort of thing is what you are after the PS4S is hopefully better which is just crazy (unless they only last 5k miles) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hey Ashok did you notice that they are getting rid of Super Sports and replacing them with Pilot Sport 4S. No longer have the Boxster but have a different car now and just replace Continental Sport Contact 3 with some new PS4S. Putting new summer/performance tyres on during cold icy mornings sounds crazy and it probably is. But I'm amazed by the stability and grip compared to the worn conti's. I'm only 300miles in but so far feel way better. Can't compare them to the Older Super Sports, but looking promising on the grip front. Hope the wear rate is as good. So now maybe a good time to get deals on SuperSports as they offload stock, they are still a great all round tyre IMHO. Or of course if thinking of getting any SS, maybe think again and get PS4s. 10. Love it! Especially the personal commentary, mostly 4 letter words. Though expanding your vocabulary as you approach 2nd carousel with very low sun blinding you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wish I was there! Got rid of the hair dresser car (not as camp as other cars on the May trip). Hopefully next year (extra motivation for stage 2)! Enjoy if you are there, don't forget to let Dale know he's a f**ker! [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Indeed thanks to everyone for tolerating other marks infesting the T5D5 track day (I think most were Volvo owners once). A great bunch of people at the event helping to keep it friendly and as always showing respect for everyone on track. Sorry I couldn't hang around till the end of the day, but I had to run off and help my friend get back after his car decided that it had allergic reaction to coolant and decided it was better out than in. From the smoke from Mo's car too earlier in the day, it would seem that those 911 just can't handle the track as well as their cheaper, little brothers. Martin
  13. Glad we aren't at the ring this weekend. A bit more than a wet lap... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Wow thanks Tingy - my phone just went mental with all the forum post updates.
  15. So I've processed by best lap with Laptimer overlays. I then decided to have a go with some video editing software and see how much slower I am compared to the M3 Taxi lap. Answer: A lot! No surprise really, The video of my lap on it's own is:
