I'm new here so go easy

I'm hoping to be looking at V50 T5's in the next few weeks, is there a buying guide on here or can anyone offer some sage advice?
I'm quite excited at the prospect of a car with some load lugging space for a change and am hoping to make a few minor mods - probably limited to suspension, exhaust and a remap in that order.

1.  Fuel pressure to high? - could be as I do run a direct wired 300lph pump.  Would make sense with the negative fuel trims at part throttle and idle.

2.  Crank position sensor.  Might make sense as the rev counter flicks about at start up.  

3.  Coils - worse when hot?  They are 4 years old.

4.  Plugs?  I was thinking of gapping them down (standard volvo plugs) from 0.8mm to 0.6mm as read somewhere that poor spark can cause starting issue - worse if over fuelling and I think my car probably is at start up (650ccc injectors).

5.  Starter motor problem.  Ashok and others alluded to this being the cause of my rev counter flicking about at start up so maybe worse when hot?

Any input appreciated as always.

After now ruling out a performance panel filter (although a Cone filter + shield from BSR is still on the cards along with a cold air feed), and also ruling out RICA and BSR tunes (gonna stick with MTE from Don @ Kalmar Union)...Question remaining is,

Which exhaust should I fit?

I'm after something which will maybe resonate a rumble etc whilst cruising, but keeps itself quiet on the motorway (since 80% of my volvo's miles will be done on the M25/M4/M11) i.e. no droning...

I don't know much when it comes to exhausts guys , so fill me in on this topic init...   

Budget is probably around £400 max, bearing in mind I have an ME7 engine (groan :\ )...and only I'm after a 'Cat Back' exhaust not a full system...just want to hear the engine note if anything, it's a little too subdued for my liking at the moment...!

As above, your input is appreciated as it Will influence me on what the end decision is...

123,000 miles full main dealer history.
Anyway the 3Cd cassette is stuck out, I think one of the CDs is stuck.
Just wondering if anyone had any ideas, I hear it's a common problem.
Ps will be taking my V70r to mrg in June .

Does the bracket move at all as some brackets where the latch clamps onto are adjustable on other cars.
Its really annoying me as I end up slamming the bloody thing out of frustration to get it shut - which doesn't always work.

Bought a pair of 'Dr Martens for Life' ( http://www.drmartensforlife.com/ ) a few years back, yes they carry a premium over standard shoes but it is more than worth it.

Now on my third replacement pair free of charge as I split the soles...

So there you go a company that just gets on with it and sends then out no quibbles!
