Not the first, won't be the last. Fairly crazy really considering some of the PSA lumps that fit straight in with no modification. I have been seriously thinking about a ME4.3 T5 conversion on a 306. Be nice to have the power, noise and some thing that handles sweetly.

Thanks for all the help mate. Just got to sort those bushes another weekend and I can have it all aligned. Retrying the calibration tomorrow, don't think it is quite right.

Thanks to Tim, the S70 is now leak free. Note to the former owner (you know who you are) - fixing the PCV with garden hose is a rather silly thing to do....

guys name is Mark (he is more on VOC than here) - don't want to embarrass him too much but ffs - hose pipe. (it was reinforced though !!) and hozelock connectors would have been more leak resistant than the jubilee clips he used. still, it gave Tim a good laugh yesterday....

Passat failed MOT on split flexi hoses and leaking union to rear caliper. All four lines replaced this evening, sorted. New jack is noisy at 23:45 putting it back in the garage!!
