UCI limit is 6.8kg, this is 7.4kg, but I'm getting there.

And yes, this is worth more than the 850:

Dribble, very nice  :)

Never ridden SRAM stuff though. Still like to wander into the man cave and give the Dura-Ace and Zipp stuff a lick now and again, irf styleee :D

Supersix?

Speedplay pedals?
EA50 wheels?
FSA cranks and chain wheels?

I could start making a list of some seriously lightweight kit.
Lightweight wheels to start sir?

Don't let your age define you. It's a number, that's all.

Nasty D5 dieseasel with few twiddly bits from TWR, MTE, IPD and Eibach but 600 miles to a tank ain't to be sniffed at :-)

Wheels are EA90SLX- lightest alloy clinchers that you can get without a weight limit on them.

I could go to carbon, but I like cycling down the mountain that I've just climbed!

With some very careful purchasing I think I could take another 3-400g off, for about £600.

It's not worth it to me at the moment to do that- however if you ask me this May as we try to tick off 5 hors catagorie climbs in 7 days I might think differently!

I've fitted ODI Ruffian MX grips since I took that picture, but as far as I can remember the rest of the set up is the same. It may or may not be a little more dirty than that right now :whistling:

You should have updated this thread  :D . I may just do that after a small spending session last year :whistling:

5 hors cat in 7 days, slacker :P

I'll be hauling my bulk around the Alps at the end of August, based in Samoen, near Morzine for 2 weeks. Need to get fit in Majorca over Easter before then though. Saying that, the race season starts in 3 weeks :o

The speed that thing goes down the side of a mountain you don't need an engine :P.

Before you say, I don't ride up either.

100km/h is the official men-from-boys speed that we established last year.

58mph down the highway from the Continental divide into Banff, Canada.

Canadian plod wasn't impressed with over taking skills in a 50kph limit zone. And that was on a fully laden touring bike, 4 panniers plus bar bag  :D

Here's a shot of my old Kona Kula Primo, it weighed in at 9.3 kilo.

And my old Bianchi 928 that came in a 7.9 kilo.... could have gone a lot lighter though.
