Well after 5 months of been unable to decide on what car to get next i spotted this a few weeks back on the Dc2 forum and just had to have a look, One of the last registered 2000 W-reg with 75K miles and a previous owner thats more than anal abut condition, Its had 3k oil changes using Silkolene pro S, 5k gearbox oil changes using Amsoil MTF, Timing belt recently changed and valve clearences checked/adjusted....Madness.

The recent chassis upgrade was done by TGM (Honda specialist) at the start of October 2010 which included everything on the chassis list below.

Chassis:

All replaced over last 5000 miles with brand new parts...

Full 24 piece Hardrace Type R rubber bush kit
Hardrace Front & Rear Droplinks
Hardrace Front and Rear Anti-roll bar bushes
Eibach Sportline lowering springs - 25mm drop
OEM Honda Shocks
OEM Honda Damper eye bushes
OEM Honda Track rod ends
OEM Honda Lower balljoints
OEM Honda Engine Mounts
OEM Honda Rear Trailing arm bushes
SPC adjustable upper balljoints
TGM Fast Road Setup
Undersealed using Dynax S50, All sill covers and arch liners removed, Full interior removal to ensure no internal arch rust was present.

Brakes:

New OEM Front Brake calipers
Refurbed rear calipers by TGM
EBC Redstuff pads all round

Gearbox:

Gearbox rebuilt by TGM
New Honda OEM Clutch & plate
Super Karui Superlight Flywheel
Hardrace Gear linkage bushes

Engine & Exhaust :

DC sports 4-1 manifold with Titanium Heatwrap
EP Racing Cold Air Box
Magnaflow Hi-flow CAT
JDM b-pipe
Original Backbox
New Honda Battery
New dizzy cap and rotor arm
OEM NGK plug leads

Wheels and Tyres:

Standard UKDM 15" Enkei wheels
205/50/15 Hankook RS-2 tyres.

Volvo History:
V70 T5 - Custom mapped by muppet, 19t conversion, 3" Ferrita D/Pipe, Milltek cat-back, Monroe/Eibach suspension, Ipd ARB's, 18" pegs.
854 T5 - Custom mapped by the same muppet, 19t conversion, TME Cat-back, KW V2 coilovers, AP 340mm front brakes, Braided hoses, IPD ARB's.
S70R - Rica 310 remap, Scorpion Cat-back.
855R - MTE stage 2 remap, Angled 18t conversion, Turbo back Ferrita, Ported TWR TB, THS 70mm FMIC, 302mm Front brakes, FK Suspension, IPD ARB's, Various polybushed items.

Looks well maintained! but it makes you wonder why so much has been replaced below 75k unless like you say the guy was ultra anal!

chopster, that volvo is pretty well modified, lets just say its not just running a remap. to compare a modified 2.3 turbo to a 2.0 litre n/a in a straightline, lets just say, i thought the honda done pretty well for what it is. on a track with equal drivers? wouldn't be so straightforward.

Yes all been well i will come upto the Rishworth meet :)

Was a very long day yesterday and i was knacked when i got in but it was definatly worth it!

+1 to what ben says though, my dad got done by PC keane i think it was in his american car (with slightly smaller lettering and spacing than uk spec plates)

TPAC is designed to limit damage and risk to vehicles, let alone slow down/stop the pursuit asap in a managed fashion - however, if the scrote in the stolen car fancies a scrap - trust me, the S60/V70 is more than capable of it,and tbf they always look worse than they are damage wise.

To be fair, they've just been doing their live motorway refresher training (seen them almost every morning on the M18/62 over past couple of weeks) - South Yorks do seem to do a lot of that training for other forces also, so their lads are actually quite good at it.
