Bit of an update regarding the car, Although i have not advertised the car for sale i have had a very good and secure offer from a close friend for the purchase of the car.

Although my original plans where to keep the car a bit longer i have decided to accept his offer and will be keeping the car for another month or so before selling it to him.

The car will be going to an enthusiast and a very good home as he is every bit as anal as me when it comes to looking after a car  :)

I have got a proper size reg plate and managed to obtain a 2nd hand surround which bolts upto the front but until i get pulled by the feds im leaving the small one ;)

Would you believe since buying the car i have followed a total of about 10 police cars on different occasions my way into Sheffield, 4 of which where traffic cars and they never bothered me?

Just put this plate on mine. Fits in the recess just right.

Your only allowed a smaller plate if you cannot fit a full size one, this is mainly a problem on the rear if the car has a small square recess.

It is here that you find out your imported vehicle can ONLY display the smaller font if it satisfies two criteria:
(1) does not have European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval and
(2) is so constructed that the area available for the fixing of the registration plate precludes the display on the plate of a registration mark in conformity with the requirements of regulation 14

If I had the ITR I would run the same plate as Simon.

chopster, that volvo is pretty well modified, lets just say its not just running a remap. to compare a modified 2.3 turbo to a 2.0 litre n/a in a straightline, lets just say, i thought the honda done pretty well for what it is. on a track with equal drivers? wouldn't be so straightforward.

edit. oh and greg. fuck off :D

Remap + intake + exhaust would be more than enough (~240whp wheel with ~260wtq, even more seeing as how it's a manual trans - compared to what...170 wheel with maybe 130wtq? lol!)...but eh, nice car if that's what you're into! ;)
855 T5 automagic: T3/T4E .63, 3" catless turbo-back, 440cc injectors, N/A cams and TB, EGR delete, ported R mani
...making STI and EVO owners cry on my way to the grocery store! =D
