The forum has undergone an upgrade to the software overnight.

Unfortunately it's had the effect of breaking the visual appearance of the forum as was.

It is being worked upon, and should be back with you as soon as possible.

Your views on the new appearance, better/worse? and any issues you find will as always be appreciated.

I like it and it now works on iPad. Which is better for me! As it saves me booting up the notebook.

Hmm, colour scheme OK. Quick reply enabled by default by the looks of it. No smileys 'n shit as Andy so eloquently puts it even in the "more reply options", well at least the button is there but no worky :-(

Can't exactly put my finger on why but does everything seem bigger and take up more space on screen than previous version Posted Image

Edit: can get smileys if you remember BBB code, hence my "huh" smiley above

Hmm, smiley button now works (ish) but the fly out box is a bit of a pain when you click the "show all" text. IMHO of course Posted Image

I'd suggest you buy a new up to date, non pixel limited plasma television then Posted Image
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair

I couldn't use anything above 720p on a 42" telly as it would be too small!

Buy a bigger telly then, or use a proper monitor or laptop

Can't be bothered to fire up a laptop when I have a running media centre attached to a TV that is normally fine for 99 percent of sites.

I'll look for a plugin that might make it work for me, something that flows text like mobile browsers might work.

Telly just a fine size it cost me a small fortune a few years back and will run till it dies.

I could run the mobile skin  I suppose.

Wierd things happen if you click on the sub/super script or bold etc, and it doesn't like unselecting, unless you swap with another option, and then it changes all text, unless you do a return (which it puts in gap

TestTM        can't revert to normal text unless I do a return

Then it work again go down here strike through  can cancel  subscript but not strike through

Fine again, try clicking on undo, and it removes all returns
