The shoutbox is a problem on mobile browsers of iPhone and Android (I'm on 2.3 and it still gets me).

atm you have a number of choices.

1. Use the "Mobile Theme"....
2. Use the iPhone IPB forum App
3. Become a Mod so you can delete them when they get on yer tits
4. Use a PC

I'm afraid the world hasn't quite caught up to the mobile browsers, and in some cases never will - it's a live with it,

unless of course, you all want the shoutbox removing, for a few whingers with piephones... :P

:mod:

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair

I've already removed the shout box - at least the forum software gives us that option. The performance of it however was never a problem on the older software (before the most recent upgrade) even on the 3GS. Now even the 4 struggles, so whatever they've done to it has made it significantly worse.

Is it better now? There was an upgrade applied this morning apparently.
