Nice, it looks like my dads old one but that one had cloth recaros.

Got one the same , the 4x4 is 204bhp  not 220 though.

lovely looking motor you have.....

Not sure how it compares in terms of power to the sierra RS500, but i have been out in one of them ages ago, if its anywhere near....your gonna have a great time with that motor

I used to own a Magenta 2wd which I took to the Nurburgring a couple of times and I drove the 4/4 with the Police from new. It was my favourite patrol car at the time , but then the 850 T5 arrived and a new King was born.

ahhh mate BEAUTIFUL car i had an escort cossie (small turbo) a few years ago but sold it when i got made redundant and had to sell it cheap for a quick sale and yes i still miss it now. love the colour mate hope it runs fine for you mine had a tendancy to break down every 1000 miles on the dot (only covered 53k when bought) had T3 hybrid turbo green injectors,4inch stainlees xhaust sounded awsome,rs500 fmic,k&n filter piggy bk ecu from noble motor sport and 18 inch azev alloys with khumo tyres and few other items. but good luck mate.

thanks lads , the cars never moved since i got it , mark the escort is a loverly lookin motor , they seem to have jumped up price again for some reason , been gettin a few little jobs done , A pillar mounted boost gauge , sorted the gear knob out and got some new wheels orded. power wise am goin to go stage 3 , standard turbo and engine with just bolt on bits , -31  3 bar map sensor green injectors (not volvo greens) and a chip to suit so should be around 300-315 bhp

Looks mint that mate, i had a Saff 4x4 and 2 three door cossys over the years before i got the Evo bug but Cossy legend will always live on - just renew your AA membership soon though.

300-315 bhp is sensible mate should still suck u in to the chair LOL just make sure you got some breakdown cover mate just in case lol let me know how you get on mate?

<sub>315bhp is enough as i dont want to put to much stress on the engine with out having a full rebuild etc.  a dont think it will be on the roads till summer either , got a skoda vrs to run about in aswell
