Hi folks.

Within the past few days I have bought a 1999 V70 TDi Auto and thought it a good idea to register here as I am new to Diesel and new to Turbo.

I have had only N/A petrol Volvos since 1982 and have 2 x 240 GL's which are currently in daily use.

I'm pretty sure I will know some people here as I regularly partake in the Volvo UK forum ( same user name, but usually in the 200 ser section ) and have organised a couple of local Volvo meets ( Pennington Flash ) in the past couple of years or so.

I know I've lots to learn re my V70.

Hi to those that know me.

Don't let your age define you. It's a number, that's all.

Nasty D5 dieseasel with few twiddly bits from TWR, MTE, IPD and Eibach but 600 miles to a tank ain't to be sniffed at :-)

Thanks for the welcome peeps.

Hi Robbie - yes another meet would be good -  you were at one of the Flash meets IIRC.
It's been a busy year for me so I havn't been to a meet this year.

I think I should be getting notifications now - seems to be set OFF by default.

Time to start browsing the forum.
