I never thought id say it but im a proud owner of a black Volvo V70r and i now see what the fuss is all about.

I drunkenly agreed to buy the car off a friend last week and havent looked back. I don't really know much about the car so any info would be be much appreciated. As far as i know the car is standard apart from polybush mounts and possibly lowered suspension.

I plan to give it a good service and fit my new 3" system in the next few weeks and give it a good detail.

Ive got a slight vibration coming from the box on tick over, Is this a common fault?

The reg is R990 TKO, Does anyone know the car?

You've got poly'd engine mounts they transmit more vibration so could just be that. I'm guessing it's an auto?
Is it worse at idle in D but less when shifted to neutral? That'll be the poly mounts.

Its a manual, The mounts are definately making the vibration more noticeable as i'd expect but it's making a slight rattling sound too, It seems to be a bit intermitent.

Probably clutch related. Old age rattle Posted Image.
Cant' help much more than that from behind a keyboard tbh.

Be thankful if it's not an AWD, the angle gear collars are a pig of a job when they strip, trust me I know as I'm doing mine at the moment .
