Hi All

I just gave MRG a call to ask for help in getting the correct part Numbers for my MAF & Lambda which they where very helpful, I told them i was from T5D5 and gave them my Reg! And then the chap turned round and said "Hello Greg! right the part numbers are XYZ!. If you have no luck give me a call back, i will give you our prices now they are £202 for the Lambda & £310 for the Maf!" I very nearly fell over! but thanked him for his help anyway

Thanks to Steve for his efforts to! i have now got a price from Emissions Control:
MAF £178 Delivered & Lambda £84.92 delivered

Thats a saving of £250.08p  I know Dealers are tied in to some parts for pricing But Thanks to MRG for the part Number's even if it was cheeky to ask? they where still happy to have helped a member of T5D5

And again Thanks to Steve for sending me the link to emissions Control page.php

Thanks Greg

Yes got a Pierberg MAF element from them for the S60R, £90 as opposed to about the same or more for the Bosch one from Volvo.
The Pierburg element has been compared to a Bosch one, running one I got secondhand currently, and they are fine.

The guy at emission controls compared the parts, even phoning Pierberg to check correct flow rate matching etc. to the Bosch. Very helpful and excellent service.

I think them prices where for the original Bosch ones!

Mine must be over due as they have never been replaced? 151k as well!

Yeh could have got a Bosch for £180 iirc. so still a lot cheaper, they will be Bosch for you as I don't think they do eqiuvalent elements.

I might give him a call tomorrow and see what he says about the equivalent? and if they have one?

But having learn the hard way with buying pattern parts over the years or something that is half the price! Like Coilovers, wheel bearings, breaks! I have learnt the hard way lol

Actually i think i will just stick with the Bosch

Cheers Greg

Why Not and Steve dose not know it yet? but will be coming over to fit them with me! Posted Image Cheers Mate!!!

I also placed an order for the Innovate HBX-1 Again PlasticPosted Image but found out from the guy that if your sensor keeps going in to fault mode it will eventually knacker the sensor its self? Not sure how true that is but lets hope it fix's it? Now all I need is to get my Oil pressure and Temp gauge working from SPA that to had not worked from the day i bought them lol

But having worry gauges that don't work has made me stop worrying so much more! lol

Cheers Greg
