Hi There,

I'm Tom, 25yo and I live in Glasgow,

Thought I would join as I have just treated myself to an Ex Police V70 T5, 2006 and I thought It would be fun to chat to like minded people about the fun and horrors of owning a Volvo!

To date I have had 5 Volvos,

1. 740GL Estate, 2L Manual, F Reg, Silver
2. 440, 2L with a strange manual gear box that seemed to make the thing surprisingly fast! N Reg, Solid Green.
3. 740GL, Saloon, 2L, Auto, G Reg. Gold
4. 460, 1.8, M Reg, Dark Blue Metallic.

5. (Current) V70 T5 Ex Police, 56 Plate. White.

I love Volvos, Even though every one I've had (apart from plod) has had exactly the same problem, Leaking water. This, however, does not detract from how good these cars are, well made, reliable, road presence, speed. Even though I know that my ex plod has had its arse booted in, it still drives like new, turbo is strong, and all feels tight.

I hope to get to know you all and be part of this community,

Thanks for reading my blabber lol!

Tom
