-12 in Kitzbuhel this morning. -19 at the top and -30 with wind chill. I have never been so damn cold skiing!

The side salad for lunch had frozen lettuce leaves before we could get to it and the hot chocolate was frozen solid before the bottom. It's a hard life in the mountains :P

It was -6.5 when I left home this morning, I then stood in a field for 2hrs, where the temperature didn't get above -3.  Yes, I am mental.

Well the Highways Agency have done a grand job this morning. Around freezing all night which wasn't too bad but no sign of a gritter anywhere as dawn approached.

Sun comes up along with the usual associated drop in temperature and the roads have frozen. Main routes aren't too bad but the Coast Road into Avonmouth is lethal. Close call from jackknifing despite travelling at 20mph along the straight! Bearing in mind this is a main route for HGVs serving a massive Tesco chill depot and the largest industrial area around Bristol. Bunch of useless twats.

Nope, my first go at archery, good fun it was too, but looks likely to become an expensive hobby if I really get into it
