Retro fitting heated seats into a P1 is a piece of pie
However if it`s a P2 then theres a whole load of stuff to sort before they will work
P2 cars are more canbus controlled and you will need a set of switches for the CCM and also a software download from volvo to switch them on (basically the software tells the CCM that you have heated seats and when you press the button the seats and CCM talk to each other and confirm yep heated seats power on and hey presto warm bum)
Twas one of the reasons i didn`t go for heated seats when i replaced my xplod interior with leather

What i should of asked was is it the same shape as mine
Mine had all black trims mate i`ve just had them colour coded to match the car
S in A thats not too far from me about 25 mins drive up the A60 and then back road into huthwaite
