Seem to have lost the updates section that used to be on the right hand side when I was on the Forum page.  You know, the bit where someone could just state what they were up to/about.  Any ideas how I can get it to show again?  Been throuh all the settings/profiles etc etc but without success.  Help please.

There's a litle black box with two chevrons in it on the right hand side of the page immediatelt adjacent to the T5D5 labelled section that contains the "News and announcements" and "website design" sub-sections and underneath the shoutbox entry box. Click on that little box and it should open up the "recent status updates" column. Click on the black box with the X in it to close the column. That should also do the same reveal/hide for the "recent topics" box underneath.

Don't let your age define you. It's a number, that's all.

Nasty D5 dieseasel with few twiddly bits from TWR, MTE, IPD and Eibach but 600 miles to a tank ain't to be sniffed at :-)
