S60 Anti-skid and Brake assist service rqd. but little different

10 posts in this topic

Hello Everybody

Like the title says i have problem with two messages "Anti-skid service required" and "Brake assist service required". I know there are similar posts but my problem is little different. Messages disappear when engine is turn off. Then I put ignition in position 2 and as soon as I touch the brake pedal messages appear again (engine off and car standstill). What may cause that? Car had full service about 3 months ago at Volvo dealership (about 1600 pound), both driveshafts are new (so I am excluding abs rings causing the fault), brakes were changed about 10 months ago (brembo discs and ferodo pads). ABS is working fine. I did the trick with "read" button and fog lights :

BCM DTC SET

ECM DTC SET

CEM DTC SET

CCM DTC SET

UEM DTC SET

Please help.

(sorry for my english, it is not my native language)

No idea why but my car has stopped complaining so I've left it as it's fine. But I've found a local place that refurbs the entire ABS unit for £195 so I'll be doing that if it fails.
