And this is the park and view field at RIAT 2008 - doesnt look very muddy does it? lol

Body mod's :

R front bumper
V70 rear light's
V70 rear bumper
Black grill
Volan's
V70 door handles
American indicators

I had the car blown over and all the grey bit's colour coded. mirrors, door mouldings and bumpers etc etc.

I have spent so much money on her in the year I have had it but it's a joy to own and I have never had to replace a major component so all good!

The volans do make the car a bit too black but they wasn't in the best shape paint wise when I got them... some Like it, some dont but I do!

It's hard to know when to stop BUT I have some peg's ( I think they will finish the oustide off nicely ;) ) in the pipeline :pmsl: my lower arm bushes arrived today and the 302's will be fitted soon :pmsl:

She does the quater at 14.0 @ 103 so she's quick enough too :pmsl:

I will do a proper "spec" page soon with some interior and engine bay shots etc.

cheers for looking

Colour-coding in black definitely works better than any other colour on the 850 and V70s in my opinion!

Those are the best looking wheels on the 850 to, but only in anthracite or black! :pmsl:

Where'd you get the US turn signals? I'm after a set of these, but any companies I've contacted, that have bothered to reply, won't ship to the UK! ;)

can anyone tell me how the US lights are different from uk ones, call me stupid but i can't tell the difference?

its not too black either, but a matt charcol set of 18" pegs would be perfect for the car!

As you can see there is an orange reflector down the side instead of clear,
Also there is no top side light.
The front of the unit is constantly on and orange and when you indicate it get's brighter - proper american stylee!

Crap description I know lol

I do have a contacted or 2 in the us of a if anyone wants some

Just as you said that, I've noticed you have the 'single bulb' type units, which are for the early 850 US models. From '94 onwards they made a 'dual bulb' unit which is the same as ours, side light on top and indicator below, except with an orange reflector on the side the same as yours. :o

Do you have an orange bulb in your units at the minute, and ever had any bother with the police about it? The thing that would put me off having the single bulb unit with an orange bulb is the fact somebody may mistake the side light for an indication and pull out in front.

I've sent you a PM regarding your state-side contact!

I have had no issues with the plod at all and they are hot on boy racers round here like you wouldnt beleive.

Re people thinking that you are indicating, again not a hint of anyone pulling out in front of me etc.. you can clearly see both lights at any angle so unless they think you are indicating both ways you will be fine lol.

And they look gread with HID's

Big improvement to the bumpers and door handle as this let the 850's original trim level down when they weather.

Loving the glossy reflections too btw.
