Before you do anything else, please check the AFRs of the car with the engine under full load.  You can either do this by taking the car to any reputed dyno facility or better still, invest in a wide-band lambda setup like the Innovate system.  It will cost around 200 quid, which is roughly the cost of 3 dyno runs, and you then of course have something permanent in the car which will be very useful.  I think you'll find that the majority here are advising you based on their own experience or from the experiences of other forum members.

ive had enough im leaving the forum,

im sick to death of been told theres faults with every car i buy that VT has had hold of, i ended up fucking paranoid about the v70 and the same will happen with this 850.

its been spot on for FB, spot on for the last owner and if i wouldnt have posted on here id have no bad feelings towards the car at all.

i decided before i bought this car i was going to just enjoy it fow what it is and that i will!

thanks to all

bye

on the whole you've been getting some very good advice. you're getting pretty much the  SAME ADVICE ON VOLVOSPEED

you've got a very nice car, just needs a bit of finishing.

First I would like to apologise to FB but I wasnt trying to point a finger at you.I was merely stating that you should of mentioned to what injectors are fitted to the car
Secondly Simon we are only trying to give you some advice regarding you situation. There is no ned to spit your dummy out
Like wise you have mentioned (on volvospeed)that the car seems to run very well(what are you comparing it to?)Like you have also stated if you happy with it the leave it alone
All the advice has been given in good faith and isnt ment to take the piss(unlike Hamish)I realy cant see why people spend so much tunning there cars and for the sake of another £200 wont fit a AFR gauge(which is is the most important thing)which WILL give a real time readout of how your car is fueling

Cheers Simon, journey down was tedious I have to say , too many train changes for me !! Car was as I remember it before although the MBC is now delivering power all the way that is awesome. Grip in 3 gears is not great at all in todays weather but the few bits that were dry were fun filled! 5 hours from you to me showed how well it went and i was held up for nearly an hour on the A1 before Scotch Corner !
All the best with your new car, back to the old skool for me :) Cheers bud !
