Hi All,

After reading this, I am now considering upgrading my 2004 C70  2.4T GT Convertible to the 302mm Discs with carriers.

But just to ensure I order the correct parts, (When I can afford them) I will try and put up a pic of my Vin plate for you to peruse..lol.  These Should read...

Chassis No YV1NC63K94J046437  And Brake ref No M5 1N 4MS S (or 5).

Am I right in thinking, all I have to do is,

Remove my Callipers, then Calliper (Retainers) Carriers, and Discs and replace with the new parts ??

What is the difference between the "Standard" Brake pads, and the "Police spec" pads, Beside price ?

If ness can these be sourced second hand from other Volvo's IE p1 V70 ?

cheers,

Joe.

Looking for a set of just the caliper brackets/retainers that appear to be no longer available. Can anyone help? This is for a 740 turbo upgrade

Unfortunately during early 2015 Volvo stopped manufacturing the 302mm caliper carriers so these are sadly no longer available from any Volvo dealers.

For what it is worth, we can still supply all of the other required parts, just not the crucial 302mm carrier brackets. Please always call us to check for the current prices, mentioning this site or our discount code "C3" for our best prices.
