Bi-zenon headlights

22 November 2011 - 23:00

Does anyone know if you can strip down a headlight unit or are they a sealed unit, my drivers side headlight has condensation in it, and the nearside one needs the dipped bulb cover adjusting as it is giving a slightly high beam?

Any comments or suggestions much appreciated

S40 stereo

15 August 2011 - 08:25

My other halves daughter has a S40, the stereo just says OFF on the screen due to her husband trying to guess the radio code and not getting it correct. I have the code, but how do i get the stereo to a state where it will ask for a code?

Thanks in advance

Scary But true!

New Michelin Tyres... Absolutely SCARY looking...
    Look for 'em in August.

These tyres are made in South Carolina , USA .

SEE THROUGH TYRES!

Radical new tyre design by Michelin.
The next generation of tyres.
They had a pair at the Philadelphia car show.

Yes, those are 'spoke' like connections to the inner part of the tyre from the outside tread 'wrap!'
The next picture shows how odd it looks in motion...

Makes you wonder how the ride feels, doesn't it?

These tyres are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon.

The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these.

Just think of the impact on existing technology:
A. no more air valves...
B. no more air compressors at gas stations...
C. no more repair kits...
D. no more flats...
These are actual pictures taken at the South Carolina plant of Michelin.

centre console blowers

05 August 2011 - 04:25

Anyone know how you get the centre console blowers out (R's have the magic buttons on here), do they just pop out? its just one of mine the fins have become detached and you can no longer control the direction of blow, and i was going to look if they could be repaired

Thanks in advance
