I'm sure someone on here's business was moving vehicles from one place to another - can anyone remember who it is ? A friend needs a non-drivable car moved from Wiltshire to Nottingham and I wondered if he'd be cheaper than the stupid quotes already given!
Anyone please ?

Legal Question re scrote's data...
28 February 2012 - 13:34
Hello! Long time no see...
Right, long story but I'll try to be brief;
A colleague of mine had his company laptop stolen from the boot of his car a few weeks ago. Never expecting to see it again, we organised a new one for him. Then, as if by magic, the police recovered it from a flat with a load of other stolen goods. It has been dutifully returned to it's rightful owner, albeit smelling of weed.
Now, I've no doubt forensics have been all over it (or have they ?) gathering evidence, but when we booted it up, we noticed there were two installs of Windows 7 on it. The said scrote had obviously decided it was good enough to keep for himself and installed a fresh (illegal) copy of Windows 7. I've no doubt being as he's as thick as two short planks, he ommitted to remove the existing installed version of Windows 7, so effectively the laptop now dual-boots with two seperate installs of Windows.
Being the ever resourceful chap that I am, I 'got into' this fresh install of Windows by recovering the password. Not only that, but once in there, I 'discovered' lots of other information about said scrote. In short, I now have :-
His name
His address
His mobile phone number
Wifi passkey for his house
emails addresses
email passwords
...thus email access
facebook account access
His girlfriend's name
His girlfriend's address
His girlfriend's email address
His girlfriend's email password
His girfriend's facebook account access
His girfriend's son's primary school login details (yes, scrotes have offspring too...)
...and other stuff.
The basic question is, seeing as this laptop is our property and all these details have been found on our property, can anything be 'done' with the above details ? Is it 'fair game' ?
Or is there some law that would land someone in trouble if someone went to town ?

Merry Christmas
01 December 2011 - 11:10
Seeing as the telly has Christmas adverts on, the garden centres are full of Christmas stuff and all seasonally decorated, and even my local barber's has a Christmas tree and decorations up (they've all been like this for a while actually...), I thought I'd be amongst the first to wish you all a very Merry Christmas !
Thanks Tim!

...for the work on the 9000. As usual, quality of work and attention to detail is second to none, with added boost to boot!
What a top chap.
What a top chap.
